Online Ministry Program

Program
Join Global Media Outreach, a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, for a 1 year internship. You will have the opportunity to be involved with an established Christian ministry with a long record of impacting the world for Christ, while working in a Silicon Valley startup atmosphere. You will work with one of the most influential Christian organizations involved in on-line ministry, using your God given skills to tell the Gospel message to millions of people.

Commitment and Funding
Each of the internships require that the participant raise their own support. The staff at Global Media Outreach and Campus Crusade will help each applicant with the support process. The commitment, in hours per week, can be different for each intern, but will typically be 20 or 40 hours per week. Interns working less than 40 hours per week are encouraged to pursue other ministry, professional, or volunteer activities (paid or unpaid) when not working with GMO.

Positions
Due to the dynamic, fast passed environment at the ministry, all persons wishing to work with GMO should be ready for challenges and to stretch themselves personally and spiritually during their internship. New college graduates, or persons with 1-3 years of business experience are encouraged to contact us. These listed positions are areas of critical need for the ministry, but if your ideal position is not listed here, we would be exited to investigate if the position God has called you to would fit within our organization.

Content Creator / Reviewer
This person would review and improve existing GMO content, and would be heavily involved in the creation of new content which represents GMO. This person must be good at communicating content effectively. This person needs to be able to keep current with SEO trends and adjust GMO content accordingly. Ideally this person would have a degree in English or another language, marketing, or communications.

Content Experimentation
This person would be responsible for coming up with new ways for presenting compelling Gospel presentations using various media formats. This person would likely be involved with website design, and website-content creation. Ideally this person would have a degree in art or media.

Volunteer Coordinator
This person will support and encourage GMO staff, community leaders, and volunteers. They may establish mentoring programs within the existing hierarchy, lead prayer teams for the movement, or develop training content to make each laborer more effective. Ideally this person would have a degree in counseling, psychology, or communications.

Process Analysis
This person will continually analyze the results of GMO initiatives, and determine their effectiveness. This person's results will direct where donor dollars and GMO effort is concentrated at any given time. This person will ideally have a degree in statistics, accounting, or business.

Donor Relationship / Office anagement
This person will manage mailings, clerical work, etc. in the GMO office for communicating with donors and other GMO partners about the ministry. They will be involved with the fund raising process and generally help Michelle with her stuff.

Partner Relationship Management
A semi-technical position managing relationships (technical, ministry, and business) with our partner ministries. This person would be involved in the pre-relationship process, helping the potential partner explore how GMO can help them improve their process. They would also be involved with existing relationships, being an advocate for the different partners in internal decision making and maintaining communication channels with each of the partners. Ideally this person would have a degree in MIS, business, management, or a technical degree. Some travel and strong people skills are likely required.

Video Production
This person will help with the scripting, production, edition, and/or publishing of GMO videos. Content would include Gospel presentations or follow-up content, as the needs arise. This person would lead the GMO vlogging projects, and work with existing internet-video companies.

Mobil Content Creation and Delivery
A technical person is need who understands mobile technologies. This person would be aid the content creators with creating mobile-accessible content. This person would be responsible for implementing the systems that allow publishing content to mobile devices, and aid in the development of processes for connecting with mobile-only seekers. This person would likely have a technical degree.

Web Server Administration
This person will help with the server administration, web-content publication, and miscellaneous. technical tasks. They will also help with designing and establishing new web services, and leveraging new Internet technologies to support the delivery of the Gospel. This person will have a strong technical / development background.
