Global Media Outreach Names New Response Center Director
September 15, 2005

Global Media Outreach, an Internet ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ International, has announced that Dan Pierson has joined the non-profit organization as Response Center Director for Silicon Valley.
“Dan has helped our response center move to the next level,” said Walt Wilson, founder and chairman of Global Media Outreach (GMO). “We have already trained a number of people on the West Coast. Dan’s role will be to train volunteers who answer emails from respondents to our websites, as well as complete our discipleship program. Dan is located in our California office.”

Keys to Christian Growth
Keeping pace with the increasing amount of emails is key part of the response center’s tasks. Global Media Outreach has started developing content for discipleship, training and multiple language support for new believers and their connection to local Christian movements globally. As part of this program, GMO now has a new website people can use: KeystoChristianGrowth.com that outlines ten keys or concepts that are important in the life of a growing Christian. These ten basic steps have been created to provide an easy way for people to get started.

Mark Weimer, CEO of Global Media Outreach: “We know through Campus Crusade’s 50 years of winning, building and sending that our response program must complete the circle for new believers, rather than just make a one-time contact. Our response centers provide a great online way to conduct follow-up with new believers and connect them to local churches.”
